What is "ill" ? Nov 2, 2005

I don't go to the doctor with a cold or 'simple' ailments.

I pay (voluntarily) into a state-controlled health insurance fund (medical, surgical & dental services). My son is insured with me.
Private insurance companies in Germany are usually cheaper for younger healthy people, but problems can arise if you get chronically ill or when you reach the pension age. Moreover, I would have to pay extra for my son.
