Aquí te dejo una explicación de parte de Ayutuxtepeque:
a)En mi opinión, "equity pledge" se refiere a una "garantía patrimonial", la cual puede estar conformada por títulos accionarios, bienes raíces, etc.
b) Lo de "non-possessory" podés expresarlo como "sin desplazamiento". Es decir, que la garantía/prenda no quedará en posesión del acreedor, sino del deudor.

No me atrevo a usar otra denominación excepto "patrimonial" dada la falta de contexto.
a)En mi opinión, "equity pledge" se refiere a una "garantía patrimonial", la cual puede estar conformada por títulos accionarios, bienes raíces, etc.
b) Lo de "non-possessory" podés expresarlo como "sin desplazamiento". Es decir, que la garantía/prenda no quedará en posesión del acreedor, sino del deudor.

Por demás me parece aceptable la respuesta que te ofrece Juan Pablo, aunque realmente no confío mucho tampoco en Wordreference, mas en este caso parece tener razón.
